Samsung finally brings back the physical rotating bezel on the Galaxy Watch 3
The first Galaxy Watch impressed us so much, it won Best Smartwatch in our 2019 HWM+HWZ.com Tech Awards. And then Samsung skipped a generation. There was never a Galaxy Watch 2, but there is now a Galaxy Watch 3 (yes, we know it's stylised as Watch3). This is the most polished, premium smartwatch experience you'll find on an Android platform today, backed up with a proper app store and matured services like Samsung Pay. The Galaxy Watch 3 also impresses by offering advanced fitness metrics and programmes on the Samsung Health app for free, something that competitors like Fitbit, and now Apple, charge a subscription for.
However, underneath its shiny new bezel lies the same hardware that powered last year's Galaxy Watch Active 2. Is the Galaxy Watch 3 still competitive then? Watch my impressions below.
